Veena Media is Veena Johnson's artistic brand. She has run her live audio engineering company, Veena Productions, for eight years and has worked with a large number of bands in the Midwest. She is proud of the lasting relationships she has built with the musicians she works with. In addition to her work in audio engineering, she is an electronic music producer. She uses Ableton Live and the Ableton Push and is currently diving deep into electronic music production. Alongside her musical endeavors, Veena is a communication professional specializing in digital media, social media, and public relations.

Veena graduated from Madison Media Institute in 2015 and returned to college in 2019 to earn her bachelor's degree. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in digital marketing in 2023.

As an undergraduate, she received the “Best in Major Public Relations” award and another excellence award for her outstanding work in the College of Arts and Communication. Throughout her education, she has successfully managed an art gallery, nearly doubling its attendees since she started. She is now pursuing her master's degree in communication, with an emphasis in mass communication.

Veena is currently working toward building an establishment called “Dreamlit District." Her mission is to promote diversity in the music industry by highlighting the distinct sounds of independent artists.
